French sailors seem to have set their minds to bring France, home country of the 470 design, two World Titles. The 470 Worlds for men and women currently takes place on French waters off La Rochelle, as part of the celebrations of the Class' 50th Anniversary. After six races, France leads in the men's event, and takes second place in the women's. Medal races take place on the 10th of August.
